Dramix Steel Fibre Concrete, has been used throughout Europe for many years. Following extensive tests and analysis by The Steel Construction Institute it is now available for multi-storey applications.

Dramix fibres are steel wire filaments with hooked ends - manufactured by Bekaert Ltd. They are added to the concrete mix to provide a pre-reinforced concrete suitable for pumping straight onto the metal deck.

The fibres are glued together in bundles, this is the only guarantee for homogeneous distribution, allows the use of fibres with high l/d ratio and can easily be added in the batching plant or the truck mixer.
